Just tried to do a full back-up, twice, of my 36,000 pictures inPSE8. These are mainly jpegs, with a few pse’s and video clips. It has always worked before. but now have a new computer, which may have a bearing. I cannot open the files on my external hard drive, and for some reasons they are XMP files, instead of jpegs. No idea what this means. Could you tell me how to correct this? Thank you.
