I’ve noticed that when I import scanned images, no date appear in the metadata. There is no field for the date in the metadata. I’ve not been able to make Lightroom insert the date when importing the images. The images are .tiff files. I can see that there are dates associated with the files by using “Change capture date” command – which shows the correct scan date. I would like to sort the images by creation date, but can’t because Lightroom doesn’t recognize the dates associated with files.
