As a new user of Lightroom, I have not had consistent luck with the “backup my photos option” when importing photos the few times I have imported photos. I get a message and a list of the photos that were not able to be backed up (onto an EHD). I have imported about 7 times and 3 of the times I have received this message.
Question 1: Does anyone know what is going on to result in this message?
Question 2: Can I just make a copy of the photos using Finder (Mac) and place them in the backup location or is there a way to create a backup at this location within Lightroom after the import is finished? (I have read over and over about doing everything within Lightroom to keep everything nice and neat.)
