I just worked on a Photoshop file on my computer this morning, closed it, but now when I try to open it again I get this error: “Could not complete your request because the file is not compatible with this version of Photoshop.” I have tried restarting my computer, saving a different copy of the file, and renaming the file extension, but nothing seems to work. I can open other Photoshop files, but somehow this file won’t open and got corrupt or something. We have tried what was recommended to edit a .psd file, you copy the file to your desktop, edit the file, save it on your desktop, then copy that new version to the server. They say to never choose Save As. and save it to a network server. What else can I try to get back into the file? I don’t want to lose all the work I’ve done. We use McAffee antivirus so the issue we read regarding Norton does not seem to be the issue here. Anyone else have any ideas on how to correct the compatibility error issue? Thanks, Dan
