Hey guys
Like everyone else here I am a big fan of lightroom and love what has been coming out with v3 but I have to say I am worried that if something major doesn’t happen lightroom 3 will most likely be outdated before it is even released…
I have just finished taking a look through Aperture 3 and was blown away with the Geo-tagging and Facial Recognition capabilities. As much as I love lightroom, I feel that I am in great danger of going over to aperture just because of the Geo-tagging and Facial Recognition features…
Does anyone else think that lightroom is behind the game here? Looking through the forum I don’t know how many people have requested these features.
Now I would agree that image quality and speed are more important but I can’t believe that adobe don’t have the resources to see these two features integrated. I would consider these to be pretty industry standard by now (I think their inclusion in Aperture 3 just proves this all the more) and if they where included my attitude towards LR 3 change from, oh this is nice I’ll upgrade when I get the change, to, OMG I have to have this and I really don’t mind how much it costs…
What do you guys think? I really think adobe should take a look at this and decide to move forward and listen to what their customers are wanting.
Besides this great job and god knows I wouldn’t want your job, but please, please take a good look at this, I really don’t want to change but will if I have to.
Cheers
Anthony
