I’ve been using LR3 beta since it was released and have no issues at all. Suddenly in the last 3-5 days, the import function is hanging on me.
I’m importing from a CF card, anywhere from 30 to 250 raw images (CR2). The cards are all different as well, 8GB Extreme III, 8GB Extreme II, 16GB Transcend.
The window (minimized or maximized) hangs Oddly enough, it only happens when I go to name the folder to import to. After a minute or two, it comes back and lets me type in the field.
The catalog has approximately 3000 images in it. Everything is local (except the source being a CF).
The machine is a HP a6567c, Vista 64-bit, LR3 64-bit, 8GB of memory, 1gb drive local ~ 320gb free.
Otherthan firefox not much else was open. I have tried disabling virus scanner (AVG) to make sure that wasn’t the cause.
