Hi,
I’m running Photoshop CS4 on Vista 64 bit, core i7 920 and 6 gigs of ram. I’ve just had a look at the system info and it says the physical processor count is 2, yet the logical processor count is 8. Is this normal? I assume that as the core i7 is quad core hyper threaded that is where the 8 logical processors comes from, so why only the two physical cores?
Any help / info much appreciated.
