I went into LR 3 beta this afternoon because I wanted to import files from PSE 6 that I took in there to edit. I found the clone stamp tool and spot tool very clumsy and ineffective in LR 3 beta. (junk! ) I went to LR 3 beta and clicked on import. I located the file and it not only did not import the photos I chose, but it wiped out my entire catalogue that I painstakingly had organized according to Scott Kelby’s LR 2 for digital photographers. I’m halfway through the book, but thought it would be easy to bring the photos in from PSE 6 and then select all the images to export to disc all at once. Where are the 1508 photos that were originally in there? I have worked in LR 3 beta for a week and my edits and catalogues were always there before when I quit and went back the next day?
