I’m new to this forum so please forgive mistakes. I just moved my photo files from my W- XP computer ( using PS Elements 5 ) to my new computer using W-7 and using PS-Elements 8. I moved my photo files over using an external drive using the same file headings in each. Now when I go to PS organizer in PSE-7 I get the thunbnails fine but every one of the 2000 photos show disconnect. I can correct that 1 photo at a time by searching and reconnecting. I observed that the search starts going through the entire W-7 system and this is very time consumming. I can select browse and narrow the search but have to do this for every photo. Is there any way I can narrow this search range down to just the pictures directory or is there another way I can do this chore ? I sure would appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks
