I installed PSE8 a few weeks ago and was having a problem sending emails. I’ve since changed my internet provider and have a new email address and email provider, gmail (not by choice). I went back to PSE8 and tried to edit my contacts but every time I hit the icon the whole program freezes. Going into the edit has the same effect. I was using PSE2 but finally upgraded. PSE2 did not have a dedicated email program but relied on Adobe Photoshop Album 2 which came in the package. Therefore, I did not import any contacts from other programs. I’ve read NUMEROUS complaints on this forum regarding the freeze problem but really saw no solutions. How can you delete the contacts if the program freezes? I tried a search for “contacts.XML” but came up empty. Besides, I’m not sure I really understand that procedure. Can anybody provide a reasonably simple way to rectify this? Had Adobe addressed the issue at all? It would seem they should provide some help.
